I got an email on the 20th saying I will not be getting this months box because I updated my credit card info. I updated my info on January 2, 2020 and they waited until January 20th to email me I am so not happy. I had to update my credit card because I was hacked over Christmas. I didn’t think when you updated online it takes them almost a month to process. Next time I’ll call if I did I probably would be getting my box.

Great box, horrible customer service. I cancelled my subscription online, but there is no way to remove your information online. So, they charged me again, even after my lengthy conversation with their phone rep who even convinced me not to cancel-just to suspend for 6 months. I'm cancelling now! I'm going through my credit card to dispute the charge and filing a BBB complaint. If you want this box, just get it through Amazon.
Another study shared information regarding use of a topical serum containing epidermal growth factor (EGF) and its ability to minimize the appearance of under-eye bags. Sixteen subjects were tested and all but two subjects reported improvement at their final visit. Improvement was quantified as 76–100 percent by two subjects, 50–75 percent by three subjects and 25–49 percent by nine subjects. Worst experience with a beauty box subscription I have ever had. The first box did not even come with any of the detailed products for my first month and I only recieved four products total that was supposedly including the mystery gift. I did not recieve my first box until they took out a second payment for another month. They say that its only first month with a later ship date...nope thats a lie third month and I still dont reciece my box until almost into anothet month or into the next month. Here is the funny thing, no one knows where your box is either, i have been lied to and just flat out told I dont know. I ecen had a cusyomer service person hang up the phone on me at one point asking questions on my first month of the subscription because she was too busy. It was all of 5 minutes trying to understand how there box works as oppose to all of my many other beauty box subscriptions. With all the conveniences dont believe when they tell you they will send you a previous box to accomodate for all the inconveniences, I waited for three months for the september 2017 box I never got. Finally I spoke with the supervisor Josie and well now I understand why the customer service is in shambles I think she was the worst to have a title of supervisor in customer service of all. I would much rather wait on an email from boxycharm, or chat with birchbox than to email with no responses for a week and when you call get the rudest service I have ever experienced. Gave me such a bad taste in my mouth for allure in general ew! Dobt do it go for a box that has the same amoubt of product (sample size) for 5 dollars less like ipsy, sephora play, or birchbox. Save your time and heartache.

I am a fan of this subsciption box, I am pleasantly surprised by this little box when it arrives. It is a good price for the amount & quality of products. I subtracted a star because it would be perfect if you could set the color scheme of the products. When something arrives in a color I can’t wear, I’m stuck with it. So far one lip color I’ve received is not good on me, but I will give to a friend. Many products are either skin care/hair care/nail care, so color is a non issue & that’s great. Most of the colored items have been good, but, not all. I do love opening the box to see what kind of treasure it holds. I also love the little piece of literature that explains each product. Overall it’s a fun, sweet little treat I’ve given myself & always a high point when I find it waiting in my mailbox.
