Hope you got all your boxes. It does hurt a little knowing you ordered a box in December through Amazon and got it early January, when I’ve been subscribed for a year through Allure and didn’t get mine till January 30 because they ran out. I know it was a popular box so they got a lot of new orders in, but they should’ve filled the old orders first. Does anyone know how long Amazon’s been selling Allure’s and other beauty boxes? I wish I’d known that when I first subscribed.
Compared to Amazon Lixury beauty this is a no brainer. Literally, there are 6 full size or significant samples of premium product. I will use many, but doubt I will shell out 68 dollars for face oil. You will get good stuff. If you are a fan of cosmetics, go for it. If and when I come across stuff I know is wrong for me, I will save and regift in a goody bag for the charities I support for door prizes or things of that nature. Yesssss

Similar issue here. I ordered Allure in November as part of the promotion. Not only did I not receive the Sunday Riley gift (and I was one of the first to order under the promotion) but I didn’t get my November box, either. I called customer service and their answer is a big “I don’t know,” so I’ve cancelled again. Sorry, @lizcadman , you’re not getting any more commissions off me because this promotion was garbage and I don’t trust the next one not to be garbage, too.
Never start microneedling without slathering on some kind of primer first: Not only does that medium make the treatment feel less harsh on your skin, but also, when you use a great treatment, you’re literally pushing those ingredients deep into your skin for maximum absorption—up to 90% more than you would just by using your fingers and leaving it there. I typically use a serum with additional collagen-boosting ingredients like hyaluronic acid. (Just be sure to avoid super-reactive elements like retinol or vitamin C.)
HORRRRIBLEEE!!! I recieved by box with the nail polish already shattered and damaging every single product in the box so I emailed TWICE asking nicely for a replacement or for a refund and I got no reply so when I finally called after 6 days of no response the woman on the phone didn't so much as even fake apologize she just said "okay you're cancelled" and that was all. Rude and I'll be telling everyone I know. I also referred a bunch of people who signed up and then after this I got them all to cancel and will be telling everyone I can to not waste their money/time. Simple customer service skills could have gone a long way. Damaged items are an easy fix but the people they have replying to emails and phone calls are the real damaged items.
Amazon had some sort of sale so I signed for a few subscriptions to see if anything was worth it. After the first month, the only one I kept was Allure. I'm a serious skincare person and a terrible make-up person but the box had a nice blend of both -- enough make-up for me to play with and some good skincare stuff/brands I hadn't seen. The second month I got an envelope in the mail and it's a single Kat Von D lipliner -- I'm not a fan of her make-up line and thought 'yep, this is it, subscription boxes suck' and canceled. Tonight, I got home and there's a proper box with some great make-up and two different face oils to try (and seriously, no joke, I was googling face oils today). So I signed back up and am now writing this review.
