I got my CEO Serum last Friday. I was happy, considering that I never thought I was going to get it. I signed up for two boxes, at least through this month, because everything I’ve ever tried from Sunday Riley has worked great for my skin. I got an email this morning that confused me though – it was an update on my January box. In the preview of the gmail, it said that allure was sorry for the delay, processing a refund, and sending me a free box” but when I open the email, it says “your box should ship out next week”. Sooo which is which? I really don’t wanna get suckered out of the SR.
I saw Allure online and it offered $5 off. It came with full-size products. The quality of the products was great. I am disabled so to have this delivered to my door each month is wonderful. I can have fun each month playing with my kit. It is only $15 a month and so exciting to receive. You never know what you will receive and I look forward to it each month. The Skinfix clay cleaner is wonderful and makes my face feel so soft. I also like the eyeshadow color and ease of use. But I wish all products were full size. I would also like it designed more for me and what I would want each month. So far, all the products have been very good. The eye shadow and lipstick colors are not always my color though. I wish there was more black eye circle concealers too. Overall it is good. I love it!

Do not, I repeat do NOT subscribe! I’ve had the subscription for 3 months and I have gotten one box. The second month when I didn’t receive the box I contacted customer service and was told they would be sending me a replacement with tracking because the first tracking showed it was sent back to them for an error on their part. After a week I had not received the email with tracking so I contacted them again, this time I was told I would not be given tracking but the box should show up within 2 to 3 weeks.

While this product is ideal for men with this drier skin type, it is unclear whether this cream was created with the combination or oily skin man in mind. Only time will tell whether this moisture-rich formula complements an oilier complexion.
Now, I know there’s nothing productive about sitting around complaining about “flaws” that aren’t actually flaws. We are aware of the way we’ve internalized idealized standards of beauty—and that articles about how to “fix” them can reinforce those standards. (The irony is not lost on me as I write this very article.) And yet there we were, comparing notes about our particular eye concerns, wondering what was causing them and what we could do about them, when suddenly we realized: We don’t actually know what we’re talking about. One person said she had “puffy eyes.” Another rued the “bags” under hers. We thought we were all talking about the same thing, but maybe we weren’t. Worst experience with a beauty box subscription I have ever had. The first box did not even come with any of the detailed products for my first month and I only recieved four products total that was supposedly including the mystery gift. I did not recieve my first box until they took out a second payment for another month. They say that its only first month with a later ship date...nope thats a lie third month and I still dont reciece my box until almost into anothet month or into the next month. Here is the funny thing, no one knows where your box is either, i have been lied to and just flat out told I dont know. I ecen had a cusyomer service person hang up the phone on me at one point asking questions on my first month of the subscription because she was too busy. It was all of 5 minutes trying to understand how there box works as oppose to all of my many other beauty box subscriptions. With all the conveniences dont believe when they tell you they will send you a previous box to accomodate for all the inconveniences, I waited for three months for the september 2017 box I never got. Finally I spoke with the supervisor Josie and well now I understand why the customer service is in shambles I think she was the worst to have a title of supervisor in customer service of all. I would much rather wait on an email from boxycharm, or chat with birchbox than to email with no responses for a week and when you call get the rudest service I have ever experienced. Gave me such a bad taste in my mouth for allure in general ew! Dobt do it go for a box that has the same amoubt of product (sample size) for 5 dollars less like ipsy, sephora play, or birchbox. Save your time and heartache. 
I am a fan of this subsciption box, I am pleasantly surprised by this little box when it arrives. It is a good price for the amount & quality of products. I subtracted a star because it would be perfect if you could set the color scheme of the products. When something arrives in a color I can’t wear, I’m stuck with it. So far one lip color I’ve received is not good on me, but I will give to a friend. Many products are either skin care/hair care/nail care, so color is a non issue & that’s great. Most of the colored items have been good, but, not all. I do love opening the box to see what kind of treasure it holds. I also love the little piece of literature that explains each product. Overall it’s a fun, sweet little treat I’ve given myself & always a high point when I find it waiting in my mailbox.
