“This is the best anti-aging product in the drugstore! It addresses most concerns associated with premature aging of the skin including tone, texture, wrinkles and discoloration by containing the right combination of ingredients. This product has been evaluated in clinical trials — in fact, one study published in the British Journal of Dermatology showed that it was as effective as Renova (an FDA-approved prescription product for the treatment of wrinkles).

"If dark, puffy [bags under your eyes] seem to be the morning problem, consider sleeping on your back with an extra pillow so that fluid doesn't pool overnight. Keeping your pillow protected from allergens (dust and dust mites) with a protective encasement can also help when allergies are the culprit," says Rebecca Tung, a dermatologist in La Grange Park, Illinois.

Alcohol consumption is one of the biggest culprits when it comes to dehydration. If you're drinking your requisite half gallon of water a day and still feeling dehydrated, take a look at your alcohol consumption. Alcohol acts as a diuretic in the body, causing you to lose not only fluid but also electrolytes. If you're suffering from chronic eye bags, reducing your alcohol consumption might prove helpful.
So I received the same email early this morning about the title line being a refund and bonus box, but then when I open the body of the email it says that there was a shipping delay and my January box would be shipping next week. I will be a little upset if I don’t receive the Sunday Riley products and a bunch of random crap in a box since I signed up in December and my payment posted on 01/04 for January. I am also expecting a box from Amazon, it says that one has shipped, has anyone received their box from Amazon yet? and If so did it have the SR products in it?

Rodial's Dragon Blood Hyaluronic Night Cream offers potent ingredients in a light, buttery cream that smells divine. This anti-aging cream contains time-released retinol, penetrating deep into the skin as you sleep to help reduce lines and wrinkles. It also contains hyaluronic acid to pump long-lasting hydration into the deepest layers of the skin.

The skin-care internet is full of dubious DIY remedies, but the ones that suggest black tea as an under-eye bag treatment actually hold weight. The caffeine in black tea is considered a “vasoconstrictor,” meaning that it’s capable of temporarily shrinking the size of blood vessels. Studies also indicate that the topical application of caffeine smooths skin, which is why caffeine is often found in cellulite creams. These two factors work in tandem to help your eyes look a lot less puffy.

Same here. When I signed up the Sunday Riley item didn’t show up on the confirmation page, so I emailed them. I said that I do not want the box if I am not getting the gift, since it was the only reason I subscribed. I received no reply and no gift. I also referred a friend and should have gotten the drunk elephant gift as well, but I didn’t. Customer service is completely ignoring me.

I ordered the August box on 8/18. I received it today, 9/20. Yes, a whole month later. I canceled my subscription because I thought it would make little sense to have to be billed for a 2nd box before I got the first. Customer service didn't seem bothered when I told them why I was canceling but cared enough to offer me a subscription to Allure magazine, at my expense. Um, I'll pass. Upon arrival, the box was stained and wet, thanks to two of the samples that opened inside. One of the products I received wasn't advertised as being in the box but they were sweet enough to include a detailed description of the item I didn't get.
Use hydrating and brightening eye cream. I was using one by Mychelle before I switched to Bella Aura Eye Cream, and this one really works for me. The thing with eye cream is that if it doesn’t show improvement, you use it infrequently–and thus diminishing what returns you may have had. Look for Vitamin C which is a precursor to collagen *and* has brightening powers. I use a powerful antioxidant serum like Bella Aura Antioxidant Booster or Earthwise Beauty Nap in the Meadow Serum right up until the lower lash line, and *then* layer an eye cream on top.
December is great this one not so much. Now that Christmas is over I can’t justify little skin samples anymore. I also don’t want nail polish or bronze eyeshadow. I am giving all the samples from Sept and Oct to my mom . I think Allure just is not for me I see others not liking December which is best box I have ever seen from them imo and get excited over Sunday Riley and drunk elephant which I think is meh. Its OK still got Ipsy I opted out of skin care with them. Plus with Amazon I can skip the light or wrong color make up months
Eye cream doesn't have to be costly to be effecting—take this RoC cream for example: It's not only super affordable at $23, it's made, tested, and approved for those with sensitive skin, so it won't irritate it, it also helps boost cell turnover for more youthful-looking eye skin thanks to the retinol it contains. Aside from that, it has hyaluronic acid in it to plump the thin skin around your eyes, naturally ironing out any fine lines. Bonus: Dr. Nazarian recommends this drugstore treatment to her patients, so you know it's good. Smooth a dab of the powerful formula under your eyes in the evening, and make sure to follow up with an SPF in the morning, since retinol can make you more prone to sunburns.
This wrinkle cream is rated #1 on Amazon in Facial Night Creams and it also claims to be the strongest non-prescription anti-aging blend available. The ingredients are mostly what you’d expect with a few exceptions. One of which being their own proprietary formula, Fision Wrinkle Fix which they claim gives the most potent wrinkle reduction available among non-prescription grade cosmetics.

Skin care with botanically derived anti-aging ingredients are gaining popularity. Quercetin, found in tea, apple skin, red grapes, red onions and berries stimulates collagen production, thus diminishing the appearance of wrinkles. As the name suggests, Korres Quercetin & Oak Antiageing Antiwrinkle Eye Cream contains quercetin -- the first natural, clinically proven alternative to retinol. This eye cream also fights wrinkles with myrtle extract (improves skin elasticity), mourera fluviatilis extract (moisturizes), baobab polysaccharides (firms) and rhodiola rosea extract (reduces puffiness and brightens the under-eye area).

This is an entire skin care regimen that will help protect and perfect your skin (hence the name). The real anti aging product is the Advanced Serum. That’s the product that includes the Matrixyl and antioxidants. This day and night cream includes protection and, primarily, hydration for your skin. All three are hypoallergenic, so you won’t need to worry, even if you have sensitive skin.
There’s no over-the-counter quick fix for wrinkles — nothing we can slather on one night and wake up crease-free the next morning. When it comes to even the best wrinkle creams, we invest in the routine and cross our fingers that 10 or 20 years from now we may look 10 or 20 years younger than we would have without them. So it’s good news that the science behind the most powerful wrinkle fighters — retinol, for one, but alpha hydroxy acids and humectants like hyaluronic acid too — says they do actually work to decrease the appearance of fine lines and signs of aging. The bad news: They don’t come cheap.
While you can’t necessarily remove dark circles, you can often hide them by lightening the area with a concealer. There are some mineral-based options available, but you can also make your own right at home. You can choose options that match your skin tone and then simply apply it by lightly patting it onto the skin around the eyes. Do not rub it into the skin as this may cause further irritation. Also, do not use too much. You want a natural appearance to the skin. Too much can make dark circles, wrinkles and crepey skin more prominent.

According to the Mayo Clinic, under-eye bags are a common issue that many people experience as they age. Since the skin around your eyes is generally thinner than the rest of your skin, it’s more prone to showing signs of aging like under-eye bags, sagging skin, and dark circles. What’s more, the tissues and muscles around your eyes tend to weaken as you age, meaning the delicate skin in that area can become more susceptible to visible wrinkling and sagging. And that’s not all! As you age, the fat around your eyes, which supports the area, can start to sink, which can also contribute to under-eye bags.

"It made a huge improvement in my skin. I loved this product and would tell anyone to try it," raved one tester of the champion, Lancôme Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector. Lab tests proved that it excelled: It was the only serum to firm skin and was number one at smoothing skin texture. Plus, it took a noteworthy second place for decreasing brown spots and minimizing the look of pores. Testers, who rated it best for firming skin, also liked its "silky" feel — however, a few said it temporarily made their skin redder.
Maybe it is just me, but I pay $15 dollars a month as a treat for myself and am never really disappointed in the allure box. I figure I always get to try something that I may not have been otherwise willing to try (for the cost). I realized a while back, when I did start to get disappointed, that I was usually just feeding off of negative comments. Sure some things don’t work for me, others I have found to be a holy grail. I give away some as gifts but I usually always feel as though I get my money’s worth.

I subscribed to the Beauty Box and they took the money out and for 2 weeks I didn't get any sort of confirmation. So I emailed them and 1 week later they responded with just saying it will soon be shipped out. The following month I still didn't receive it and all they said was, "Sorry for inconvenience but it was shipped and nothing we can do at this point." My friend received her box and the bag was broken and one other product and they never replaced it. I cancelled my subscription and went through my bank to get my money back because they did not even respond after that.

Specially formulated to support your skin’s natural regeneration process, this nighttime pro-collagen cream is a great option for anyone looking to take advantage of all of the time we spend catching z’s. The luxurious, moisture-rich texture of this nighttime cream feels wonderfully soft on the skin and helps to promote your skin’s natural abilities to restore elasticity and hydration. It delays the visible signs of premature aging.
Same! I only see a reference to the refund and free box in the preview of the e-mail while I’m looking at my entire mailbox. If I open the message, the subject says nothing about a refund and free box, and the body of the e-mail just says they apologize for the shipping delay. I’m not optimistic the refund and bonus box will really happen. I think that part may have been a mistake.
Dr. Tzu says retinol helps increase collagen production and normalize differentiation of the top layer of skin. Clinically, it’s used to smooth the skin, even out discoloration, and unclog pores. But you’ll want to be mindful of retinol’s tendencies to amplify the skin’s sensitivity to the sun and be sure to always wear plenty of SPF when you use retinol skincare products throughout the day.

But for me, the most remarkable aspect is that while these very noticeable results are certainly advertised at the cosmetic dermatologist’s office after hundreds of dollars worth of treatments, I’ve been able to see such a dramatic transformation at home, with a comparably minute investment of $27 to $40—and far less blood, pain, and inflammation, too. Why isn’t everyone doing this?
"I added it to my routine (Cetaphil wash, The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toner, and Corsx Snail serum, on a weekly basis). This is the third week and I have noticed a huge diminishing in my uneven skin tone and acne scarring. I look younger and my skin glows after. It doesn’t burn like stronger peels and my skin only slightly reddens after." —Alexandra Snyder
Dermatopin is one of the most popular wrinkle creams on the market. Designed with ingredients proven to target puffiness and bags under the eyes, Dermatopin has become a customer and expert favorite. Clinical results show the ingredients in Dermatopin target dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, and crow’s feet. And of course, it's 100% guaranteed or your money back. I signed up for the first month promotion for $7.50. They charge my card and 1.5 weeks later, they charged my card again for the next month subscription even though I haven't received the first box yet. I emailed them to cancel, they replied me with some promotion "4 boxes for $10", I refused but they ignored my answer. I kept emailing them to cancel but never got an answer from them. The next thing I know is that they already shipped another box. This is outrageous.
“No!” I said, shocked—I’ve always personally thought that injectables and plastic surgery of any kind are just not for me, and she knew that. But indignity gave way to glee as I realised that my newfound microneedling habit had hit a new stage of success. I had purchased a dermaroller on Amazon a few months earlier, after getting a treatment at a dermatologist’s office and watching my might-as-well-be-tattooed dark circles and puffy under-eye bags disappear—and stay gone in the weeks that followed. I seriously doubted that I would get anything approaching similar results at home, but if nothing else, pressing tiny needles into my face seemed like a pretty badass thing to try, a funny story to tell either way. I’ve never been happier to be so wrong.
While each product is under the anti-aging umbrella, the creams, moisturizers, and serums vary in the specific aging concerns–like fine lines and wrinkles, dullness, and poor elasticity–they more aggressively target. If you have particularly sensitive skin, best practice is to read ingredient lists carefully so you can avoid common skin irritants in beauty products, like added fragrance. And because everyone’s skin is different, it’s always helpful to pay attention to the user testimonials to get a better sense of the results or potential side effects you can expect. Lastly, don’t get discouraged if you don’t see immediate results from one of these anti-aging products; anti-aging benefits take time, and sometimes even a little trial and error to find the right product for your skin type and concerns.
I have ordered from 3 other box subscriptions, trying each to see which fits me best. I placed an order for the Beauty Box and 6 month magazine subscription together at a discounted rate. After checking out the site and learning that there is no profile to select your skin color/tone or any preferences - I decided this box was not going to be for me. I emailed customer service 4 times asking them to cancel. I got an automatic response each time stating they would get back with me in 3-5 business days. Never happened.
Women’s Health Editor’s Note: Dr. Frey is one of my favorite contributors. Her unrelenting passion to bring patients and consumers the most factual information is completely refreshing. Dr. Frey makes the fact-based claim that “anti-wrinkle” creams do not work using evidence that comes directly from the manufacturers’ package inserts!  ….Anna Villarreal
I signed up. I was unable to sign into my account due to their error. I tried emailing them. They didn’t get back to me within the 48 business hours that the automatic email response said so I requested to cancel. I got another automatic response that I was canceled but if I wanted to stay they would discount the rate. I replied with that I just wanted to cancel. My account kept saying active so I keep contacting them to cancel. I wrote 8 emails and gave them 3 weeks. However I Woke up today to them taking out another months box payment.
Also in the formula is Vichy’s signature Mineralizing Water. They consider this volcanic water to be a “miracle of nature”, and it’s easy to see why! It is rich in as many as 15 minerals and can give strength to your skin’s natural moisture barrier, which helps your skin protect itself against potential damage. Not only is it completely natural, but it is also impossible to recreate it scientifically. This mineralizing Water is a key ingredient in all of Vichy’s skincare products.
I signed up for allure with the SR promotion. I’d been charged for the first two boxes like everyone else. I got a shipment notice Friday, and the November box identical to spoilers was delivered today. No SR or mystery gift inside, but I’m guessing that will come separately, even though the insert said if it was my first month, the new member gift would be inside.

Truth is, your eye puffiness and darkness could be inherited. "The undereye area is one of the thinner areas and is easily neglected in basic skin care," says Paul Jarrod Frank, a cosmetic dermatologist in New York City. "There is a strong genetic component to dark circles, which is out of people’s control." Womp, womp. Yes, much of the reason you have those circles is that of your parents' own thin skin (thanks, Mom). Sometimes you have them because of an increase in pigment in that area. But don't run to the doctor asking for a pricey laser or needle treatment. Below are ways to minimize the appearance of those circles that won't cost you an arm or a leg. These affordable tips go way beyond putting cucumbers on your eyes.
Night creams are a wonderful option for a not-morning person. Remembering to do your entire skincare regimen at 5:30 am just doesn’t always happen. But if you keep cleansing face wipes and this by your bed, you can remember to take care of your skin as you’re falling into bed. This cream uses a patented, controlled release technology that allows your skin to be replenished while you sleep. And the moisturizer will last well into the next day.

Like our other runner up pick, IT Cosmetics was docked primarily because of how it’s packaged. It comes in a jar, so every time you open it, all of the cream is exposed, leaving the key ingredients more vulnerable to degradation. More seriously, the cream can become a hotbed for bacteria if you’re not diligent about washing your hands before each use.

If you’ve fallen into the habit of sleeping with your makeup on, it’s time to correct your bad behavior. Not only can falling asleep with a full face of foundation and heavy eye makeup on lead to breakouts—which you likely already knew—it can also result in puffiness. In order to wake up fresh faced, use a micellar water to remove every trace of makeup before bedtime. Simply saturate a cotton pad with the L’Oréal Paris Micellar Cleansing Water Complete Cleanser Waterproof – All Skin Types and sweep it over your skin, no need to rinse.

If you are fighting both the early signs of aging and the remnants of adolescence – i.e., breakouts, then this is a superb choice for you. The LiftActive cream is non-comedogenic, meaning it will not block your pores and lead to acne and breakouts. Plus, the mineral water can help restore a healthy pH level in your skin, meaning your skin becomes more healthy overall. By restoring your skin’s health, you may find you are more resilient against acne as well – it’s a win-win!
Awesome Box, Bad Customer Service! I gave the Allure Beauty Box a try for a year and while 8/10 times I loved the items I was mailed, the customer service and lack there of was a deal breaker for me. When they send out the 'spoiler' email it was always without a link, the tracking number came more often than not after my package arrived and after January's huge SNAFU (first they send out a mass email that they have canceled your order, then they send another that reads they have refunded your money and will be sending out a free box, but when this message is opened it says nothing of the sort, and finally an "oops" message stating the box will ship "soon" which for me was another 2 weeks. I decided to cancel my subscription, because what should be a fun, enjoyable treat was becoming nothing but stress.
What causes them? Though you might hear the word “bags” used interchangeably with “dark circles” or “puffy eyes,” these distinct under-eye pouches are markedly different from either one. This structural puffiness is caused by a combination of fat herniation and skin laxity—they’re genetic and a normal sign of aging. They can appear as early as your late-20s or 30s—but apparently none of the SELFies who complained about bags actually have them, because the docs didn’t diagnose any instances of bagginess in our photos.
Hyaluronic acid, a humectant that holds up to 1000 times its weight in water, can "plump" wrinkled skin, giving it the appearance of diminished wrinkles. A top anti-wrinkle eye cream, Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Contour Cream contains Super Bio Hyaluronic Acid N for intense moisture; it also has burnet extract to revitalize cells and counteract loss of firmness.
Four of our remaining wrinkle creams advertised sunscreen built in: L’Oreal, Neutrogena, Philosophy, and StriVectin. Retinoids degrade very quickly in the sunlight, losing their potency. More worryingly, the 2010 handbook of Cosmetic Dermatology Products and Procedures suggests that retinoids may release free radicals as they degrade — molecules that harm your skin rather than helping it. Because of this, the handbook concludes, “it is still recommended to avoid UV exposure when using topical retinoids” (312). Sunblock does slow retinoid degradation, according to a 2008 study, but the retinoids still degrade to some extent. Ultimately, this wasn’t a risk we felt comfortable taking. Until there’s been more extensive research on the topic, we’ve opted to skip all sunscreen-containing products.

Whenever you find yourself shopping around for a new wrinkle-fighting and age-defying Super Product, one factor stands out above the rest: results. Sure, we all love a sweet-smelling formula or a list of ingredients comparable to our favorite salad but, at the end of the day, does any of that really matter if you’re still plagued by crow’s feet and fine lines?
If you're into essential oils, you'll be happy to know there are several oils that combat under-eye puffiness and dark circles. Try mixing an essential oil with coconut oil and rubbing it under your eyes. Rose geranium, fennel, lavender, German chamomile and rosemary essential oil are hailed as the best essential oils for getting rid of under-eye bags.

If you’re looking for a more permanent solution for under eye bags caused by ageing, fillers can sometimes be a good option. This long-lasting treatment can keep eyes bag free for up to 12 months. The injections work to improve the appearance of the under-eye area by smoothing the contours of the eye socket to make it appear more youthful. Although a highly efficient and long-lasting treatment, fillers can be quite expensive and occasionally have adverse side effects, so do your research first!

So, you slather your skin from head to toe with sunscreen, but you avoid getting your SPF too close to your eyes. It may sound reasonable, since you don’t want to deal with stinging, burning eyes. But that doesn’t negate your need for sun protection in that area. For an easy solution, seek out an eye cream that’s formulated with SPF. Additionally, make sure you wear the proper accessories. When you’ll be exposed to the sun, don a pair of large sunglasses that provide UV protection with a wide brimmed hat. Besides defending against sun damage, proper sun protection can help prevent under-eye bags.

"I ordered this moisturizer because I saw two empty containers in my neighbor's trash! I know this sounds crazy, but I figured that it had to be good if she ordered two of them. She's a really good-looking woman who takes care of herself and she has a successful business. She can most likely afford expensive creams, but she uses this, so I thought I should give it a try. I absolutely love this cream! It makes my skin feel smooth, firm, and very hydrated. I love how it doesn't make my face burn or sting like other retinol products. It's great for both day and night, and also around my sensitive eye area. I used to spend more for face cream, but it really isn't necessary when I can get results with a reasonably priced product. I'm so glad I noticed the trash that day!" —Chikz
Retinoids recently experienced some stiff competition from bakuchiol. The plant-based ingredient was demonstrated to have antioxidant properties similar to those of retinol, which is what prompted scientists to investigate how it would compare, explains cosmetic chemist Perry Romanowski. What they discovered was that the two have very similar anti-aging effects, but bakuchiol doesn't come with the potentially irritating side effects that are an issue with many retinoids. It's the standout ingredient in this treatment, which hydrates, fights fine lines and wrinkles, and helps fade spots and discoloration, too.

Also known as periorbital hyperpigmentation, periorbital melanosis and dark circles, under-eye bags may appear as the lower eyelid’s bluish discoloration (vascular type) or brownish to black hyperpigmentation (constitutional type).3 The eyelid skin is the thinnest of all body parts, particularly the lower medial eyelid, which has the lowest dermal to epidermal ratio.4 This is where fat accumulates through time, resulting in the development of bags under the eyes.5

I've been a subscriber for 5 months. For the last 4 of those 5 months, I've been charged for the box and weeks later have had to email to ask where the box is. Only then does my box ever get shipped. Today I decided to call instead of email. The first person I spoke to was very friendly and understood my frustration. He told me he saw in my account that my box has "missed the truck" literally every month. He transferred me to a supervisor to further assist me. That's where the problems really start. He left me with this HORRIBLE woman who was the nastiest customer service representative I've ever spoken to. She basically tried to tell me that it didn't miss the truck and it was leaving the warehouse today.
UVB rays are the main cause of sunburn and reddening. It has different strengths during different seasons, times of day and location, but it can burn and damage your skin all year. It may not penetrate glass as much as UVA rays do, but as much as 80% of UVB rays bounce off reflective surfaces such as snow. It is also a contributing factor to premature aging from sun damage.

Nope, no shipping email or info even though I was charged. I emailed customer service who, a week later, sent a canned response saying I’ll get tracking when it ships, in the mean time log into my account. Completely useless info. My account says update payment method (I paid w first box using PayPal) and I don’t want to put a credit card number in and mess anything up, especially since I already paid. Anyone else know what’s going on in this situation? Do others accounts show the order and status, such as “processing” or anything?
