Spoke with customer service on 9/14 to update my credit card info. Rep stated that I was all set and I would receive a confirmation email which I did on 9/17 alone with Allure charging my account in the amount of $16.33 for the Sept box. On 9/21 my account was suspended. "Suspended customer's request???" What's that. I called and they said they don't know what happened and don't know why the account said that. Then she told me that I would not receive the Sept box and would have to wait until October. WHAT!!! Your mistake and you charged me for NOTHING!!! DON'T DO IT. SAVE YOURSELF A BIG HEADACHE!!!
Ok I just got off the phone with customer service regarding the delay of the box and the email. I received this email and was pretty confused. Customer service states the email was a glitch, it was a mistake and should never have gone out. There are no replacement boxes or refunds, that the January boxes have not mailed out because they are waiting on the products to arrive. (Which seems strange and inaccurate because I literally just read in this feed where a lady already recieved her box with the Sunday Riley products). I really hate to act entitled, but I’ve been with Allure for years now, if it is in fact a screw up they have a duty to tell us, and they have a duty to fulfil subscriptions by seniority.

Just thought I would let you all know that I got a letter from Allure today stating they are out of the SR serum from November and don’t anticipate replenishing. They didn’t offer any replacement in the letter, but I called CS and they are sending some sort of beauty bundle to me. Sorry if this news is disappointing for any of you, bc I know I was super disappointed.

The Allure Beauty Box was something I heard friends and coworkers talking about. I looked online and they had products closest to what my needs were. I like certain colors and styles and the personalization part of making toward what I wear and need versus randomly sending me things I may not use. I like certain types of makeup like eyeliner and cover up. The only thing I would add is more deals and discounts to people who buy, to have more selection and colors of brand items they include in the box, and to have different subscription boxes to choose from. Otherwise I enjoy the product they have now. Great products, A+.

Maybe it is just me, but I pay $15 dollars a month as a treat for myself and am never really disappointed in the allure box. I figure I always get to try something that I may not have been otherwise willing to try (for the cost). I realized a while back, when I did start to get disappointed, that I was usually just feeding off of negative comments. Sure some things don’t work for me, others I have found to be a holy grail. I give away some as gifts but I usually always feel as though I get my money’s worth.
