I am a subscriber to It cosmetics, I like it because the makeup itself is light and provides full coverage without caking and it looks fresh all day and I have never heard of the other listed makeup boxes. I like that I can choose how many items I want and which items I receive and pay for it over 3 months. I also like that I know what I am getting and can order what I want or need, that they are also coming out with new products and expanding the line so you need to check with the website if you need or want something else. But the price is a little high, and they do not have online ordering to change and update what you receive. You have to call them but the customer service people were very knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. They say you can cancel at any time.
On the other hand, there are a variety of all-natural wrinkle creams that are reasonably priced, and the beauty of this is that many of these creams last an extra-long time due to the fact that you only need a few drops per day. Horrible service!!! I signed up for December on the 6th and didn't receive my box until the 27th. I was not happy with items and decided to cancel my subscription. They wouldn't answer the phone so I sent an email. They charged my credit card today!! I called to complain and they told me that because of the holidays they probably haven't even gotten to my email yet and can't refund me for January even though they haven't sent the box yet. I told the customer service rep (Nick) that I wanted a refund. He said he couldn't give me one until the box was sent and I sent it back!! WOW!! Horrible!! Now i have to dispute the charge with my credit card company!! Don't order from Allure!!!!

Hello. I subscribed to allure beauty box just about a week ago. I understand it takes time to send out boxes and things can hectic during holiday season. However I believe that when people are paying money every month for a service there needs to be at least reliable customer service and communication. I sent an email to their customer care and did not get any response within 48 hrs as it is stated. I subscribed to other beauty boxes and so far they at least answered promptly and kept me up to date in the service. I wish I had read all these reviews since I am getting an impression that their customer service is pretty bad.

Spoke with customer service on 9/14 to update my credit card info. Rep stated that I was all set and I would receive a confirmation email which I did on 9/17 alone with Allure charging my account in the amount of $16.33 for the Sept box. On 9/21 my account was suspended. "Suspended customer's request???" What's that. I called and they said they don't know what happened and don't know why the account said that. Then she told me that I would not receive the Sept box and would have to wait until October. WHAT!!! Your mistake and you charged me for NOTHING!!! DON'T DO IT. SAVE YOURSELF A BIG HEADACHE!!!

Ok I just got off the phone with customer service regarding the delay of the box and the email. I received this email and was pretty confused. Customer service states the email was a glitch, it was a mistake and should never have gone out. There are no replacement boxes or refunds, that the January boxes have not mailed out because they are waiting on the products to arrive. (Which seems strange and inaccurate because I literally just read in this feed where a lady already recieved her box with the Sunday Riley products). I really hate to act entitled, but I’ve been with Allure for years now, if it is in fact a screw up they have a duty to tell us, and they have a duty to fulfil subscriptions by seniority.
I don’t understand why ppl accuse these companies of scamming. That is bs. This company did not get to where it is by scamming. When they send something other than the sub boxes, they don’t use tracking because it is an added cost. This is typical of all Beauty companies. I have had boxes stolen from outside my apartment door on a few occasions. Once I had an Allure box stolen and they replaced it at no charge and with no questions asked. I think a lot of the result people get is caused by how they talk to the company. I personally find that the more reasonable I am when speaking to them about a problem, the more reasonable they are about a solution. But to call them scammers I think is really off the mark because most companies do their best to try and please their customers, that is how they stay in business. It just bugs me when people assume that everything is always their fault.
