I've been a subscriber since late summer 2018. I liked my first box & loved the December box. The boxes in between were mediocre (gave most of the contents away). Well, I've been trying to cancel for WEEKS. I have gotten nothing but automated responses AND was charged earlier than usual for the next month... You know, for a box I don't want! Upon discussing this with others? I'm not alone!

I got offered $10 for 4 months after saying that I wanted to cancel. I signed up in November and I’ve had to email them every single month to get my box. I told them to give me the January box that I’ve paid for and I want to cancel. I got a bunch of emails that also said, “oops” etc. I use to sub with them and never had a problem. I quit because, the box started to look like SephoraPlay/Ipsy. A bunch of little samples. I’m thinking about what to do next. I’m going to comb through my bank statement because, I have a suspicion that I’ve been multiple charged by them. Thanks for listening.
I signed up with the Sunday Riley deal and had issues with my account. I had a pending charge for weeks and it finally fell off. I called them and they said I didn’t have an account. I signed up again and they promised to send me the December box and the Sunday Riley. I have only received the January box and have a feeling they told me what I wanted to hear just to keep me signed up. I’ve read the horror stories on here and hoped I wouldn’t have the same experience.
It’s not hard to cancel Allure at all. I think people just aren’t looking hard enough on the website. Go to FAQ’s. It’ll help. Also, my experience with customer service for the past 5 years has been stellar. I dunno. I think it’s important to use diplomacy for best outcomes with these companies. I always start with praise and tell them I know they will offer the best solution to the problem/complaint. It has worked for me.
Hyaluronic acid, a humectant that holds up to 1000 times its weight in water, can "plump" wrinkled skin, giving it the appearance of diminished wrinkles. A top anti-wrinkle eye cream, Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Contour Cream contains Super Bio Hyaluronic Acid N for intense moisture; it also has burnet extract to revitalize cells and counteract loss of firmness.
I love subscription boxes. So after reading all the online “professional” reviews, I went for Allure since Birch is so/so (but has TOP customer service) and FabFitFun only comes 4x a year. I never received my January box, nor did many others, yet they advertised for people to sign up and get it right up until February. I emailed them a polite message and heard nothing back. Finally, I tried to cancel my subscription online, and their website has “error messages” for every time you try to perform that action on your account. You have to call. The person I spoke to today assured me that I would be given a refund in 10 business days to my debit card. If it doesn’t happen, I WILL be going through the bank, since it appears that a number of individuals are not receiving their money. Allure was poorly prepared for this subscription service.
As you age, the tissue structures and muscles supporting your eyelids weaken with the loss of collagen. This weakening of the tissue can cause the skin to begin sagging. The fat that is normally found in the area around the eyes may move into the area below your eyes, accumulating fluid and making the under-eye area appear puffy or swollen. Some things that can make this happen are fluid retention due to changes in weather, hormone levels, eating salty foods, not getting enough sleep, allergies, dermatitis — especially if puffiness is accompanied by redness and itching — and heredity. Here’s another way your fridge can come in handy: Store a few metal spoons inside. When you find yourself with a little free time, perhaps while you’re watching an episode of your favorite TV show, grab two chilled spoons from the fridge and place them on your under-eye bags. The spoons will work in a similar manner to your refrigerated eye cream, helping to de-puff.
Same here. When I signed up the Sunday Riley item didn’t show up on the confirmation page, so I emailed them. I said that I do not want the box if I am not getting the gift, since it was the only reason I subscribed. I received no reply and no gift. I also referred a friend and should have gotten the drunk elephant gift as well, but I didn’t. Customer service is completely ignoring me.
Still no tracking for me. I changed my card cause I don’t even know if I want to deal with February or March. I am curious for April though haha. They say they will BILL us when our box SHIPS and that isn’t the case. I wouldn’t care if that were true but I was charged for 2 boxes before I ever even got the first one. And now will be charged a 3rd before I receive the 2nd (last time it took 14 days to get to me after I got the confirmation email)
If you’re looking for a more permanent solution for under eye bags caused by ageing, fillers can sometimes be a good option. This long-lasting treatment can keep eyes bag free for up to 12 months. The injections work to improve the appearance of the under-eye area by smoothing the contours of the eye socket to make it appear more youthful. Although a highly efficient and long-lasting treatment, fillers can be quite expensive and occasionally have adverse side effects, so do your research first!
I saw Allure online and it offered $5 off. It came with full-size products. The quality of the products was great. I am disabled so to have this delivered to my door each month is wonderful. I can have fun each month playing with my kit. It is only $15 a month and so exciting to receive. You never know what you will receive and I look forward to it each month. The Skinfix clay cleaner is wonderful and makes my face feel so soft. I also like the eyeshadow color and ease of use. But I wish all products were full size. I would also like it designed more for me and what I would want each month. So far, all the products have been very good. The eye shadow and lipstick colors are not always my color though. I wish there was more black eye circle concealers too. Overall it is good. I love it!
Overdoing it in the sun can make the skin around your eyes sag and wrinkle as well as cause dehydration of the skin. A mineral-based or homemade sunscreen, a good pair of UV-protected sunglasses, and a hat can do wonders to help protect your face from those harmful rays, ultimately keeping the skin around the eyes from wrinkling and darkening due to the effects of the sun.

As mentioned, having noticeable bags under the eyes is not a medical concern, but an aesthetic one that doesn’t imply a disease or a health-threatening condition.45 If the saggy skin obstructs your peripheral vision, an under-eye bags surgery or blepharoplasty could be done. This procedure gets rid of the excess tissue in your eyelids46 through an incision.
This night cream targets the three most visible effects of aging to your skin by smoothing wrinkles, evening skin tone, and improving skin tone. In order to do this as effectively as it does, Neutrogena has created a formula specifically for these tasks called Hexinol. Among the ingredients in this cream are some we recognize for the task; Vitamin C and shea butter.
According to a 2013 study, using a broad spectrum sunscreen and wearing UV-coated sunglasses may help reduce bags under the eyes.17 However, in choosing a sunscreen, make sure that it doesn’t contain oxybenzone, synthetic fragrances or retinyl palmitate; your safest choice is a lotion or cream with zinc oxide. You may also wear a wide-brimmed hat or a cap to protect your face and eyes.

Dr. Wee also recommends SkinCeuticals A.G.E. Eye Complex. The product contains anti-glycation ingredients to help protect the skin around the eye and reduce the appearance of under eye bags and wrinkles. “It also contains optical diffusers, anti-aging flavonoids and peptides, proxylane, and hydrating emollients to improve the appearance of under eye skin,” explains Dr. Wee.

This serum has all the usual ingredients and a few extras as well. The hyaluronic acid and retinol in this serum will act to hydrate and reduce fine lines, firming your skin – as you’ve seen in several other products on our list. But you may not know the Vitamin E will neutralize free radicals and harmful UV rays. And the plant-based glycerin will calm and hydrate the skin, making it perfect for dryness, peeling, or age spots.
