“This serum was created as an alternative to hydroquinone for people suffering from brown spots and fine lines. But it’s safe to use long term because it doesn’t bleach the surrounding skin. It’s also packed with powerful anti-aging ingredients like kojic acid and licorice root extract, which fight free radicals that damage collagen. I just love this product and my friends and patients love it, too! It can be applied once or twice a day, just be sure to use sunscreen with this product,” says Dr. Dina Strachan, M.D., a New York City-based dermatologist.

Even though its damage-blocking superpowers sound great, vitamin C can’t replace SPF, so be sure to wear a sunscreen along with this moisturizer during the day. This specific cream is loaded with extra skin-saving ingredients like aloe vera, two forms of vitamin B, and CoQ10. Store this bottle in a cool place and away from direct sunlight, which may weaken ingredients.

Hyaluronic acid filler injections can plump up the sunken under-eye area. Fillers are priced per syringe, typically between $1,000 and $1,400, and the results can last for a year and a half or up to five years. There are also laser procedures to destroy the superficial blood vessels that are showing through the skin, though experts say tread with caution as the wrong laser can cause hyperpigmentation (or even hypopigmentation, when the area lightens too much). Treatments range between $300 and $500, and may require two or three sessions to see results, plus annual maintenance.

As you age, the tissue structures and muscles supporting your eyelids weaken with the loss of collagen. This weakening of the tissue can cause the skin to begin sagging. The fat that is normally found in the area around the eyes may move into the area below your eyes, accumulating fluid and making the under-eye area appear puffy or swollen. Some things that can make this happen are fluid retention due to changes in weather, hormone levels, eating salty foods, not getting enough sleep, allergies, dermatitis — especially if puffiness is accompanied by redness and itching — and heredity. "I live where it's dry, and on top of that my mom, bless her heart, is always turning the heater up. I also have very fair skin that freckles and burns easily. This moisturizer leaves my skin refreshed and not dry, goes right in, isn't greasy, doesn't have a weird smell. And the UV has shielded my skin so that one particularly dark freckle/sun spot has faded." —Kimberley S.
I signed up on Dec 17, money came out of my account on Dec 18, but I still have no box. I haven’t’ even been charged for January yet and I’ve heard not a peep from Allure. I’ll be calling to cancel on my lunch break. Seems to me as they are picking and choosing who they will email and who they won’t. Going a month without hearing anything is not cool. Since they haven’t shipped anything, they can just give me my money back.
It’s not hard to cancel Allure at all. I think people just aren’t looking hard enough on the website. Go to FAQ’s. It’ll help. Also, my experience with customer service for the past 5 years has been stellar. I dunno. I think it’s important to use diplomacy for best outcomes with these companies. I always start with praise and tell them I know they will offer the best solution to the problem/complaint. It has worked for me.
So disgusted!!! I've only had this subscription for 3 months (May being the third month) and all 3 months I've had to contact customer service! The first month- it was 3 weeks after my payment posted to my bank account before I received an email stating my box was shipped and on its way. They said that's how it goes with the first months box. So ok. Then the second month, April, the money is posted to my account. When you sign up it states onces the money is withdrawn from your bank account, once it posts you will receive an email stating it has shipped. So 3-4 days go by still no email. A week. Still no email. Once again almost 3 weeks go by before I receive an email that the box has even shipped! They tell me sorry for the delay, I write back saying, "yes I see that there is a delay, but why is there such a delay? When you order it states once the money is posted in your account you will receive an email about shipping, not several weeks later" no reply back. So this month (May) I check my bank account and I notice that they double charged me. Once on May 11th and again on May 14th. I write them about this double charge asking to be reimbursed. Later that day (may 16th) there is a reversal charge and the money is put back into my account. They get back to me on the 18th stating that "there was only one charge which was May 11th which is for my beauty box and that their records show no charge on May 14th!!! So I wrote them back and told them that is strange because I can see it right on my account. I took pictures of both charges with the dates as well as the reversal charge and told them I don't know how it was taken care of but thankfully it was because it doesn't sound like I would of received much help!!! I am seriously debating cancelling my subscription. I do like the products which is why I gave this review one star! Let's see when i receive the email about shipping! As of today it has been a week since the payment was posted to my bank account!!!

When choosing a dermaroller to purchase, you need to pay attention to the needle size. Most experts I’ve spoken to advise anything between 0.2 mm and 0.75 mm for use at home. (Benjamin advises staying under 0.5 to avoid damage.) I’ve only ever used 0.2 or 0.5, since I mainly focus on my lips and underneath my eyes, and those areas are particularly delicate.

Bags under eyes — mild swelling or puffiness under the eyes — are common as you age. With aging, the tissues around your eyes, including some of the muscles supporting your eyelids, weaken. Normal fat that helps support the eyes can then move into the lower eyelids, causing the lids to appear puffy. Fluid also may accumulate in the space below your eyes, adding to the swelling.
I decided to try out Allure and I really regret it. I made my subscription purchase on December 31st hoping to get the January box. I was charged twice at their "first-time subscriber" rate. Then a couple days later I was charged the full price of a box on top of that. I emailed the same day I made my order and heard nothing back within 48 hours. I then emailed again. Nothing. Finally I called in. I was informed that one of the charges was refunded (though my bank account still doesn't reflect this). I was also told that of you sign up at the end of the month they will charge you for both that month and the next month.
We almost feel as if all we need to tell you about this cream is the rating: it’s a perfect 5.0. Well, sure that happens from time to time, right? Not with 1,115 reviews at the time of this publication, though. That’s not typical at all. That’s over a thousand people giving it 5 stars, saying it’s perfect. It contains most the ingredients you’d think of for a wrinkle cream: hyaluronic acid, retinol, Vitamin E, and green tea, with the right amount of each to make all the difference. And if not, the product has a 100% money-back guarantee.
Designed to be applied at bedtime, the Meaningful Beauty Beyond repairing cream is an excellent complement to your current skincare routine. Whether you’re trying to stave off fine lines in your 20’s or tackling decades-old wrinkles well into your 70’s, incorporating a great night cream like this one into your daily routine is a small favor your skin will surely thank you for later!
"First of all... What sort of magic is in this container? I have been using the Olay Regenerist night cream for about a year, and I just decided to try this product out. In one week wrinkles are clearing up. Especially in the area of my forehead. I live in a country that is very hot and humid and pores can get clogged easily. This works perfectly. " —De Bajan Girl
This wrinkle cream’s primary ingredient difference is the probiotic formula it contains. Probiotics can have a drastic impact on your body, both inside and out. Not only can it rejuvenate sagging skin and smooth wrinkles, it could even treat dermatological problems like acne, rosacea, and eczema. And it also includes other ultra-hydrating ingredients: aloe, jojoba oil, and cocoa butter to name a few.

Allure has really been cranking out the spoilers! I really appreciate that, it gives me something to look forward to. I’m in love with January and will use everything in that box, plus I’ll order an extra. February is not as exciting, but still really good! I’ll definitely try the mascara with all of you raving about it and I’m excited to try a clear brow gel since I never have. I always find at least one really good product in Allure every single month. I can’t say the same about my other subs.
