Each month’s box contents will vary, but the company states that they will all contain at least five products and occasionally six or seven. Each product will be unique, though some boxes can have different variations of a similar item. For instance, the November 2018 box include a Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment Mask, Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask, and a Lapcos Metallic Sheet Mask in Pearl.
I got offered $10 for 4 months after saying that I wanted to cancel. I signed up in November and I’ve had to email them every single month to get my box. I told them to give me the January box that I’ve paid for and I want to cancel. I got a bunch of emails that also said, “oops” etc. I use to sub with them and never had a problem. I quit because, the box started to look like SephoraPlay/Ipsy. A bunch of little samples. I’m thinking about what to do next. I’m going to comb through my bank statement because, I have a suspicion that I’ve been multiple charged by them. Thanks for listening.
If you're looking for extra moisture that will last while you sleep, you'll find your match with this product. Light in feel (and price!), this gel-like L'Oréal cream received high marks for firming and moisturizing. In the Good Housekeeping Institute's test, it led to a 36% uptick in skin's firmness in four weeks, plus a 40% rise in moisturization.
Peptides are the star of the show here, namely an amino-peptide complex, that penetrates 10 layers deep to help skin cells. "Peptides act as signaling mechanisms that tell the body to produce more collagen," says Dhaval Bhanusali, M.D., a dermatologist based in New York City. (As a reminder, collagen is the protein responsible for strong, firm, youthful skin, so more collagen equals fewer wrinkles. But this cream doesn't stop there; it also gently exfoliates and hydrates.
I liked the products that I received but the service quality has me pretty angry. I told them to cancel my subscription as I only wanted to try one box. They told me to contact them again after I received an order confirmation. Got the confirmation, sent them another cancellation request, and didn’t hear back. A week later Paypal notifies me that Allure charged me another month. No matter how nice the samples are, I hate getting money stolen and poor customer service. Will not use again - Sincerely, a very pissed customer 🙃

As you age, the tissue structures and muscles supporting your eyelids weaken with the loss of collagen. This weakening of the tissue can cause the skin to begin sagging. The fat that is normally found in the area around the eyes may move into the area below your eyes, accumulating fluid and making the under-eye area appear puffy or swollen. Some things that can make this happen are fluid retention due to changes in weather, hormone levels, eating salty foods, not getting enough sleep, allergies, dermatitis — especially if puffiness is accompanied by redness and itching — and heredity. Polly, I have subscribed to tons of beauty boxes and at the moment have downsized my subs to just ALLURE and BOXYCHARM. At the moment, I have so much makeup that I think I may soon pause on boxycharm but I can NOT unsubscribe without my ALLURE. I agree, I always find at least a couple of items that are useful and make me break out of my ever expanding box…plus I just love the box!
UVB rays are the main cause of sunburn and reddening. It has different strengths during different seasons, times of day and location, but it can burn and damage your skin all year. It may not penetrate glass as much as UVA rays do, but as much as 80% of UVB rays bounce off reflective surfaces such as snow. It is also a contributing factor to premature aging from sun damage.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) gives you short-term benefits while you wait patiently for retinoids and AHAs to kick in. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant, and works by drawing water into the cells, making skin look plumper and more full of life. And hyaluronic acid is the latest and greatest humectant out there, each of its molecules capable of holding 800 to 1,000 times their weight in water. That’s a lot of plumping power. Even more effective than HA is sodium hyaluronate, a derivative that has smaller molecules, making it better at sinking deeply into the skin.
