The Nubian By Juvia's box was a mess. It was crushed or something. The box itself was fine but unusable. When I opened it and powder come pouring out all over the place nothing else was like that. Seems someone either made a mistake or didn't care. Very unhappy about it. Is it possible you can send another one? I'd be happy to send the mess back to You if You would like.
I ordered the August box on 8/18. I received it today, 9/20. Yes, a whole month later. I canceled my subscription because I thought it would make little sense to have to be billed for a 2nd box before I got the first. Customer service didn't seem bothered when I told them why I was canceling but cared enough to offer me a subscription to Allure magazine, at my expense. Um, I'll pass. Upon arrival, the box was stained and wet, thanks to two of the samples that opened inside. One of the products I received wasn't advertised as being in the box but they were sweet enough to include a detailed description of the item I didn't get.

HORRRRIBLEEE!!! I recieved by box with the nail polish already shattered and damaging every single product in the box so I emailed TWICE asking nicely for a replacement or for a refund and I got no reply so when I finally called after 6 days of no response the woman on the phone didn't so much as even fake apologize she just said "okay you're cancelled" and that was all. Rude and I'll be telling everyone I know. I also referred a bunch of people who signed up and then after this I got them all to cancel and will be telling everyone I can to not waste their money/time. Simple customer service skills could have gone a long way. Damaged items are an easy fix but the people they have replying to emails and phone calls are the real damaged items.

People are saying that Allure is supposed to get them on the 7th and they will ship with the Jan boxes. I think it’s funny that it seems like they waited an extra long time to send these out to weed out the scammers who only got the one box for the high-priced free goodie. I have had allure for over a year, and I cancelled after the Nov box bc I wasn’t interested in the Dec box. So when this promo popped up, I said what the heck and resigned back up. I got a second Nov box, which came in handy for extras in gifts at Christmas, and ended up really liking the Dec box. I haven’t gotten the CEO yet, but if they do end up sending it with the Jan box, I’ll be pleasantly surprised. If I don’t get it, oh well. I still got my money’s worth and then some.
I signed up with the Sunday Riley deal and had issues with my account. I had a pending charge for weeks and it finally fell off. I called them and they said I didn’t have an account. I signed up again and they promised to send me the December box and the Sunday Riley. I have only received the January box and have a feeling they told me what I wanted to hear just to keep me signed up. I’ve read the horror stories on here and hoped I wouldn’t have the same experience.
I saw it advertised online and thought it would be a great way to try new beauty products without spending a lot of money on them first. I also was attracted to the ad showing some high-end cosmetics, like NARS. I liked the fact the box would contain some beauty products I'd never heard of, especially skin care products. I also liked the beauty tools that were included. However, I received a lot of products that I wouldn't use or colors outside of my palette. I would prefer it to be more customized, and I wish it had an option to be sent every other month as opposed to every month.
I have not received my box yet either. No tracking yet…nothing. They did take their payment for the box they made sure of that. Allure really dropped the ball in January. I did receive the email about late shipping and I spoke with Customer Service twice but they could not provide me with any shipping info they just advised me that I would be getting the January Box. I love Allure but Customer Service is always their downfall. So maybe in March I’ll get my January Box who knows lol
After being a long time Ipsy subscriber I will never go back! This box gave me so many full size and/or large sample sized products I am amazed that it’s only $5 more! My pouch did not come ripped like others however I do believe they could improve the quality of the bag. The booklet shows a Beauty Blender Micro Mini set should have been in the box but I received a neon pink NCLA nail polish ($16 retail) that is not mentioned in the booklet. As for the items I think this box was a good mix of genres, from hair, skincare to makeup. Over all this box is better than a lot of others!
