Subscribed to the beauty box via MSA in early August, inputted a different shipping and billing address and they shipped it to my billing address anyway. I called and asked Allure why would they ask for that information if they're going to ship it to the billing address regardless, and they said that there are multiple ways to sign up and usually it defaults to the billing address, even if the shipping option is specified (so why even ask for shipping if that's the case? remove the option?). I contacted them multiple times via phone to see when they would send my beauty box (to the correct address this time). I was originally told 5-10 business days. After ten business days with no box, I reached back out and this time spoke to a manager. She was understanding, refunded my money, said she would send it out again but she informed me they only ship boxes out ONCE A MONTH. it would be 21-30 days for me to receive that box.

I received the Jan 2019 bag, it shipped on the 29th & got to my door by the 5th at 3:00PM (super fast compared to allure) and its amazing! Everything came in great condition EXCEPT THE RED BAG, like alot of other people it was torn on one side. (Tip-You can flat iron it and reseal it to make it useable again) I received: both sunday riley products, the NCLA Call my agent nail polish, Ouai scrub, Doucce lip crayon, mally eye shadow stick, and the Amika hair mask. (Which I'm pretty sure was all of amazons variation) I haven't seen the micro sponges in an Amazon box yet.. Oh & of course the magazine! Besides the bag being ripped which to me, isnt a big deal, that's not why I bought this box, I received it fast, nothing spilled, everything was great. I would still recommend (:

Allure has really been cranking out the spoilers! I really appreciate that, it gives me something to look forward to. I’m in love with January and will use everything in that box, plus I’ll order an extra. February is not as exciting, but still really good! I’ll definitely try the mascara with all of you raving about it and I’m excited to try a clear brow gel since I never have. I always find at least one really good product in Allure every single month. I can’t say the same about my other subs.
Spoke with customer service on 9/14 to update my credit card info. Rep stated that I was all set and I would receive a confirmation email which I did on 9/17 alone with Allure charging my account in the amount of $16.33 for the Sept box. On 9/21 my account was suspended. "Suspended customer's request???" What's that. I called and they said they don't know what happened and don't know why the account said that. Then she told me that I would not receive the Sept box and would have to wait until October. WHAT!!! Your mistake and you charged me for NOTHING!!! DON'T DO IT. SAVE YOURSELF A BIG HEADACHE!!!
I signed up for the first month promotion for $7.50. They charge my card and 1.5 weeks later, they charged my card again for the next month subscription even though I haven't received the first box yet. I emailed them to cancel, they replied me with some promotion "4 boxes for $10", I refused but they ignored my answer. I kept emailing them to cancel but never got an answer from them. The next thing I know is that they already shipped another box. This is outrageous.
LOL I also don’t understand the outrage over a weeks delay of shipping your box. It’s kinda ridiculous. Throwing around the fact that you have been with Allure a year like you are more entitled is also ridiculous. I could in return say well wait just one minute here, I’ve been with them for 3 years and I’m more entitled than someone who’s been here a year. It’s dumb.

Of the 1131 subjects within the randomized vehicle-clinical trials for tazarotene, 97% were white. Subjects with darker Fitzpatrick Skin Types V and VI were not studied, which results in an inadequate determination of efficacy of the product to darker skin types.  Within two trials submitted, a slight improvement in fine wrinkling was seen in 5% and 13%, respectively of both trials. Nope, no shipping email or info even though I was charged. I emailed customer service who, a week later, sent a canned response saying I’ll get tracking when it ships, in the mean time log into my account. Completely useless info. My account says update payment method (I paid w first box using PayPal) and I don’t want to put a credit card number in and mess anything up, especially since I already paid. Anyone else know what’s going on in this situation? Do others accounts show the order and status, such as “processing” or anything?
I am a fan of this subsciption box, I am pleasantly surprised by this little box when it arrives. It is a good price for the amount & quality of products. I subtracted a star because it would be perfect if you could set the color scheme of the products. When something arrives in a color I can’t wear, I’m stuck with it. So far one lip color I’ve received is not good on me, but I will give to a friend. Many products are either skin care/hair care/nail care, so color is a non issue & that’s great. Most of the colored items have been good, but, not all. I do love opening the box to see what kind of treasure it holds. I also love the little piece of literature that explains each product. Overall it’s a fun, sweet little treat I’ve given myself & always a high point when I find it waiting in my mailbox.
