I’ve been a subscriber to the Allure Beauty Box for almost a year now! It’s always exciting to open the box and have no idea what’s in it, and I’ve been happy with everything I have received so far! On the downside, shipping can take foreverrrrr, but that’s the only bad thing I can really think of! I’ve had no issues with customer service either. No plans on cancelling this box anytime soon!😊
I have never had such an issue so early on with like… any company. Not like this. Toward the end of my emails I just told them to please cancel my subscription I don’t care about January. God knows what’s going to happen now. I kind of would like the Jan. box because I want to try Sunday Riley, but the amount of issues going on over there I’m thinking it’s best to just end things now.
Mine supposedly shipped yesterday. I’m so excited for it! I went ahead and ordered it because I had seen several people unbox it on YouTube. The value of the products is unbelievable for January. My theory is that allure had so many unsatisfied customers and cancellations from all the issues last year that they’re going to work really hard to bring those customers back this year. I think their goal is to make things right again and I predict some really good boxes in our future. I could be wrong but let’s hope not. 🤞

I've been a subscriber for 5 months. For the last 4 of those 5 months, I've been charged for the box and weeks later have had to email to ask where the box is. Only then does my box ever get shipped. Today I decided to call instead of email. The first person I spoke to was very friendly and understood my frustration. He told me he saw in my account that my box has "missed the truck" literally every month. He transferred me to a supervisor to further assist me. That's where the problems really start. He left me with this HORRIBLE woman who was the nastiest customer service representative I've ever spoken to. She basically tried to tell me that it didn't miss the truck and it was leaving the warehouse today.

Apparently the Sunday Riley Glow Serum in the January box is a full size. You can preorder that and the retinoid cream on Sunday Riley’s website. It comes in a kit with a glycolic treatment. I’m super excited for all 3 boxes! I’m a little sad that the retinoid cream from Sunday Riley will be wasted on me because I already have a high strength prescription retinoid cream I use every night.
Spoke with customer service on 9/14 to update my credit card info. Rep stated that I was all set and I would receive a confirmation email which I did on 9/17 alone with Allure charging my account in the amount of $16.33 for the Sept box. On 9/21 my account was suspended. "Suspended customer's request???" What's that. I called and they said they don't know what happened and don't know why the account said that. Then she told me that I would not receive the Sept box and would have to wait until October. WHAT!!! Your mistake and you charged me for NOTHING!!! DON'T DO IT. SAVE YOURSELF A BIG HEADACHE!!!
Do not, I repeat do NOT subscribe! I’ve had the subscription for 3 months and I have gotten one box. The second month when I didn’t receive the box I contacted customer service and was told they would be sending me a replacement with tracking because the first tracking showed it was sent back to them for an error on their part. After a week I had not received the email with tracking so I contacted them again, this time I was told I would not be given tracking but the box should show up within 2 to 3 weeks.

Hello. I subscribed to allure beauty box just about a week ago. I understand it takes time to send out boxes and things can hectic during holiday season. However I believe that when people are paying money every month for a service there needs to be at least reliable customer service and communication. I sent an email to their customer care and did not get any response within 48 hrs as it is stated. I subscribed to other beauty boxes and so far they at least answered promptly and kept me up to date in the service. I wish I had read all these reviews since I am getting an impression that their customer service is pretty bad.

So after reading a lot of bad reviews about customer service and how it was difficult to cancel your membership, I decided to just that, I had to call them again because they make it very difficult for you to cancel, you can't just do it from your account online like all other boxes, you have to call them and wait on the phone for a long time and when you tell them you want to cancel, they offer you 4 boxes at 12 dollars per box. That was kind of weird to me, but even at $12 it's not worth the headache. Going back to Boxycharm, that is one of the best boxes out there.
I ordered the August box on 8/18. I received it today, 9/20. Yes, a whole month later. I canceled my subscription because I thought it would make little sense to have to be billed for a 2nd box before I got the first. Nope, no shipping email or info even though I was charged. I emailed customer service who, a week later, sent a canned response saying I’ll get tracking when it ships, in the mean time log into my account. Completely useless info. My account says update payment method (I paid w first box using PayPal) and I don’t want to put a credit card number in and mess anything up, especially since I already paid. Anyone else know what’s going on in this situation? Do others accounts show the order and status, such as “processing” or anything?
I’m in my 40’s. I can read and smell. I know what it is and what it’s for but it stinks and it’s full of blue dye. Stained a white pillow case. I have plenty of face and body products. This stuff is not going back on my face so I can stain another pillow case. Plus, I don’t want to smell it. It stinks! It’s packed full of vitamin C so there’s really no reason it can’t be used on feet too. At least it’s not going to waste. Have s great day!
