I got scammed by Allure BeatyBox. I ordered the box just to get the full size Sunday Riley CEO serum. Well I never received it. When I called they said that they sent it. I was like okay where is the tracking number and they said they didn’t have one. So there is no actual proof that they sent it. Which, I doubt they did since many others had this problem. They then offered me a $20 face wash as a sub which is basically a bait and switch. No thanks my face wash is elemis. So, they were like okay we’ll have a manager call you. Well that was like 3 or 4 days ago, so I’m pretty sure they blew me off. I’m cancelling today. This box is not worth the stress.
Spoke with customer service on 9/14 to update my credit card info. Rep stated that I was all set and I would receive a confirmation email which I did on 9/17 alone with Allure charging my account in the amount of $16.33 for the Sept box. On 9/21 my account was suspended. "Suspended customer's request???" What's that. I called and they said they don't know what happened and don't know why the account said that. Then she told me that I would not receive the Sept box and would have to wait until October. WHAT!!! Your mistake and you charged me for NOTHING!!! DON'T DO IT. SAVE YOURSELF A BIG HEADACHE!!!
I received the same email but mine had nothing about a refund. Mine said they were charging my card & sending my January box out next week & will give me a tracking # then. Then an hour later received an email saying “opps” ignore the last email & your box will be sent out next week & you will get your tracking # then. How weird… Both emails were basically saying the same thing. I am just wondering why they are sending their beauty boxes out late this month. It seems like a lot of beauty boxes were actually sent out late this month. But this is sooooo weird!!!
I decided to subscribe to Allure B. Box because I thought it would be a great way to receive samples and beauty products to try out. I started Oct. 5 2018 and they charged me right away. I never heard back on shipping for that month. Oct 16 I sent an email and on Oct 18 I received a tracking email. Needless to say I received the box very late Oct. I decided to cancel, with an email, I was offered to please stay and they would do the next “4 boxes at $10 ea.” Instead of $15. I accepted, this was Oct 31. On Nov. 1st they charged my card for the Nov. box. ALL November I waited, no emails, no information. I got an email just advising a “November Round up” for those who did get the box can review the products. I sent an email no response, so I decided to call. I spoke to a rep saying she didn’t understand why I had received one. On their end it showed it had not left “the warehouse” but she’d message a supervisor who’d get back to me.
I agree completely. I’m pretty bent about waiting this long particularly when they took my money way earlier than ever before! 99% of the time it’s always on the 9th regardless of the day of the week in the entire almost 2 years I’ve been a loyal subscriber. This month, I was charged on the 4th. What they should have done is send out emails the day they realized the nail polish was going to be late, send the boxes the way they were and then ship the nail polish separately or in next month’s box. Their supplier issue isn’t my fault nor is it my fault that they advertised the living daylights out of this box and now can’t keep up. I do believe they are lying. If my neighbor who is a new subscriber, (this is her 1st month), got both of her boxes, where is mine? She got both on the same day, Amazon did not have the polish but the through allure did? 🤔 New customers got there’s and so did MSA but not their long time, loyal customers? Bad way to handle it
