Talked to Allure 3 times and got 3 somewhat different stories. I did get a shipping email but that is only Allure letting USPS that they should be on the lookout for the package. USPS is still waiting on my box. At this point, I am going to be asking for a refund for this month. I love the box but after over 2 years of of being a loyal customer, I feel they could be and should be doing better in customer service and well, everything! Email customer service?! Lol! Lol! Lol! Nope! I think I’ve only ever gotten 1 response in 2 years and not one email returned this month. Their phone CS and email CS are not integrated, 2 separate things going on there. Eh? That does not make any sense in this day and age. Even their website is beyond outdated. There’s not much info for subscribers and their accounts. The whole variation thing too. I don’t even want those tiny worthless beauty blenders. I told CS that it seems they’ve taken care of the newer customers and left the loyals hanging. “Pretty much…..” I actually told them that if I get those beauty blenders, I’m putting them back in the box and putting ‘return to sender ‘ on it. She said not to do that because it would cost regular rates for them. Well, then maybe then the ‘editor ‘ will get the message. The original content spoilers released by Allure are what I expect. 😳 I love the products and sizes I get from this sub so please don’t tell me I should cancel. No, Allure needs to get it together.
I decided to try out Allure and I really regret it. I made my subscription purchase on December 31st hoping to get the January box. I was charged twice at their "first-time subscriber" rate. Then a couple days later I was charged the full price of a box on top of that. I emailed the same day I made my order and heard nothing back within 48 hours. I then emailed again. Nothing. Finally I called in. I was informed that one of the charges was refunded (though my bank account still doesn't reflect this). I was also told that of you sign up at the end of the month they will charge you for both that month and the next month.

Worst experience with a beauty box subscription I have ever had. The first box did not even come with any of the detailed products for my first month and I only recieved four products total that was supposedly including the mystery gift. I did not recieve my first box until they took out a second payment for another month. They say that its only first month with a later ship date...nope thats a lie third month and I still dont reciece my box until almost into anothet month or into the next month. Here is the funny thing, no one knows where your box is either, i have been lied to and just flat out told I dont know. I ecen had a cusyomer service person hang up the phone on me at one point asking questions on my first month of the subscription because she was too busy. It was all of 5 minutes trying to understand how there box works as oppose to all of my many other beauty box subscriptions. With all the conveniences dont believe when they tell you they will send you a previous box to accomodate for all the inconveniences, I waited for three months for the september 2017 box I never got. Finally I spoke with the supervisor Josie and well now I understand why the customer service is in shambles I think she was the worst to have a title of supervisor in customer service of all. I would much rather wait on an email from boxycharm, or chat with birchbox than to email with no responses for a week and when you call get the rudest service I have ever experienced. Gave me such a bad taste in my mouth for allure in general ew! Dobt do it go for a box that has the same amoubt of product (sample size) for 5 dollars less like ipsy, sephora play, or birchbox. Save your time and heartache.
I don’t understand why ppl accuse these companies of scamming. That is bs. This company did not get to where it is by scamming. When they send something other than the sub boxes, they don’t use tracking because it is an added cost. This is typical of all Beauty companies. I have had boxes stolen from outside my apartment door on a few occasions. Once I had an Allure box stolen and they replaced it at no charge and with no questions asked. I think a lot of the result people get is caused by how they talk to the company. I personally find that the more reasonable I am when speaking to them about a problem, the more reasonable they are about a solution. But to call them scammers I think is really off the mark because most companies do their best to try and please their customers, that is how they stay in business. It just bugs me when people assume that everything is always their fault.
