We wanted an anti-aging cream with a full arsenal of defenses, so we required our top picks to contain hyaluronic acid of some type. But we opted to bring all 8 of our remaining contenders into the office for hands-on testing — four with HA and four without. This allowed us to check out drugstore runners-up like RoC, which are a lot cheaper and easier to find than brands like La Prairie (and can be paired with a face moisturizer containing HA).
Still no tracking for me. I changed my card cause I don’t even know if I want to deal with February or March. I am curious for April though haha. They say they will BILL us when our box SHIPS and that isn’t the case. I wouldn’t care if that were true but I was charged for 2 boxes before I ever even got the first one. And now will be charged a 3rd before I receive the 2nd (last time it took 14 days to get to me after I got the confirmation email)

According to the manufacturer, this product is a scientific breakthrough in the field of beauty and aging. It claims to offer instant results and helps make sagging skin firmer. It seems like most of the claims made by the manufacturer are true, as there is a 30-day money back guarantee on this product. It is also safe and natural aside from being highly effective.

In a previous Health interview, dermatologist Jessica Krant MD, recommended this product for those looking to start using a retinol product, explaining that "the ingredients are of good quality and I have never had anyone complain about any skin reaction or difficulty managing this retinol." It packs hyaluronic acid to boost moisture while also erasing fine lines.
The majority of studies evaluating the benefits of these OTC retinoids are poorly designed and the effectiveness of these studies is regarded as marginal, at best, by most skin experts. When marketed as cosmetics, the manufacturers of these “anti-wrinkle” creams are not required to obtain pre-market FDA approval, nor are they required to prove the product’s efficacy to back up claims. OTC “anti-wrinkle” creams, in essence, are merely moisturizers that claim to improve skin tone, texture, and radiance while reducing wrinkling. As a skin care expert, the true ability of an OTC “anti-wrinkle” cream to improve the appearance of the skin has more do to with the products ability to moisturize, to increase the water content of the skin.
Our favorite part of this wrinkle cream is that it warns you (in the directions) to be careful of the sun while using this product. It points out that retinol makes skin particularly sensitive to the sun’s harmful UV rays and recommends that you wear additional sunscreen. That’s the first we’ve seen such a warning, and even if it’s just precaution, we appreciate the care for safety.
"I apply the serum every morning — its powerful antioxidants brighten my complexion and help prevent UV and environmental damage. Then comes the gel, which contains hyaluronic acid, which gets ‘set’ over the smaller molecular nutrients and vitamins in the serum. The combination leaves my skin glowing, radiant and perfectly prepped for sunscreen, the final and most important step of my skin care routine,” says Dr. Jessica Weiser, M.D., a New York City-based dermatologist.

Celluvexin is one of the top cellulite cream, delivering some of the best ingredients at a low price. Celluvexin ranks so highly because of its cellulite-fighting ingredients that have been shown individually in clinical tests to show significant results. Featuring compounds like CELU-SLIM, which breaks down fatty tissue causing cellulite, it also has natural ingredients such as kelp, green tea, and amino acids that help smooth and strengthen the skin for a firm, clear appearance. Great box, horrible customer service. I cancelled my subscription online, but there is no way to remove your information online. So, they charged me again, even after my lengthy conversation with their phone rep who even convinced me not to cancel-just to suspend for 6 months. I'm cancelling now! I'm going through my credit card to dispute the charge and filing a BBB complaint. If you want this box, just get it through Amazon.
"After hearing my five-year-old ask about the lines on my forehead, I decided it was time to be more proactive with my skincare. I’ve always hesitated to try new facial products, especially lotions, because I have sensitive skin that was acne prone in my youth. Now at almost 40, my skin is quite a bit less problematic, but starting to show signs of aging. I’ve been using this now for a few months and it’s working well!" —CincyMom
Lymphatic massage the whole face. This is a huge one–I can’t stress the importance of this enough. Recently I got a Radio Frequency (RF) facial, which vibrates the skin to promote lymphatic drainage and boost collagen, and my facialist said that it reduces under-eye bags as well. Lo and behold, she was right. This doesn’t mean you have to get RF facials every night, but that you can do the self-massage routine at home to mucho effect. Your under-eyes don’t exist by themselves–they’re connected to the rest of your face. To DIY, pump plenty of lotion or cream of your choice (I use Herin Beauty Omega-3 Cream, great for repair) and dot your cheeks, chin, forehead, neck, and decolletage. Use 2-3 fingers of both hands to do circular strokes lifting up and out from the center of your face. Note: You can use firmer strokes as long as you don’t tug the top layer of your skin. Think of it as gently massaging the muscles of your face rather than skimming the surface. You’ll know you did it right if you feel a refreshed, “just-worked-out” sensation all over. 2x a day.
Anyone who works a job that has any kind of stress level knows that the constant "no sleep" situation is so real. You've probably Googled "how to get rid of bags under eyes" on more than one occasion, and you'd do almost anything (save cut off an arm) to get rid of them. And even after you've tried a million expensive treatments, they usually come back.

According to a 2013 study, using a broad spectrum sunscreen and wearing UV-coated sunglasses may help reduce bags under the eyes.17 However, in choosing a sunscreen, make sure that it doesn’t contain oxybenzone, synthetic fragrances or retinyl palmitate; your safest choice is a lotion or cream with zinc oxide. You may also wear a wide-brimmed hat or a cap to protect your face and eyes.
After using a wrinkle cream, “patients sometimes break out and think that means they’re allergic to the product as a whole as opposed to just one ingredient,” says Dr. Ford. The most likely culprit in these anti-aging products, she says, is actually vitamin E, an irritant that also showed up a lot in our review on the best lip balm. So before you bag wrinkle creams altogether, look for products that don’t contain vitamin E, commonly listed as tocopherol. If you find that you’re still having a bad reaction, Dr. Ford advises that you try a product that has just one of the powerhouse anti-agers.
Hello. I subscribed to allure beauty box just about a week ago. I understand it takes time to send out boxes and things can hectic during holiday season. However I believe that when people are paying money every month for a service there needs to be at least reliable customer service and communication. I sent an email to their customer care and did not get any response within 48 hrs as it is stated. I subscribed to other beauty boxes and so far they at least answered promptly and kept me up to date in the service. I wish I had read all these reviews since I am getting an impression that their customer service is pretty bad.
Although jade and rose quartz rollers have played a key role in Chinese beauty regimens for centuries, they only recently became a staple in American vanities. Using the smaller stone, gently roll it underneath your eyes in outward motions to promote blood flow and soothe puffy skin. Pro tip: Throw your roller into your refrigerator before each use for the ultimate cooling experience.
For a cream that will check all of your boxes, Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer SPF 30 was a hit with our consumer testers, who reported that it improved skin tone, softened fine lines, and firmed skin. The rave reviews: "Hands down the best wrinkle cream I have tried so far." "I like that my skin looks brighter and feels firmer." "Until I tried this cream, I was doubtful that day creams actually worked as advertised. My skin looks younger — it's firmer and has less visible wrinkles." Lab tests confirmed that the retinol-infused day cream firmed and evened out skin while dispensing a dose of hydration.
This wrinkle cream is gentle enough that it’s sure to not clog your pores. For particularly sensitive skin, you may want to wait 10-15 minutes after cleansing to apply the cream though, just to ensure the products don’t combine to create an irritant. The collagen and alpha hydroxy acids will smooth your wrinkles and lines in as little as two weeks.
Puffiness and bags under the eyes that appear in the morning may be caused by your sleeping position. Sleeping only on one side places pressure on the blood vessels under your eyes. The pool of blood that accumulates in this area makes the skin appear darker.7 According to Medical News Today, buildup of excess fluid and weakened muscles may cause dark bags under the eyes as well.8
This wrinkle cream comes in an opaque bottle and can be applied without dipping your fingers into an open tub. Because retinoids are extremely fragile and degrade easily, we appreciated that the formula used packaging that minimizes exposure to light, air, and dirty fingers. Out of the 112 wrinkle creams we evaluated, the only other product that paired great packaging with our three key ingredients was La Prairie, a $530 wrinkle cream that made Dr. Dennis’ $68 price point seem like a steal.
Never, ever, EVER go to sleep with a full face of makeup on your face! We know it can be frustrating and time-consuming to wash away that killer smoky eye at the end of the evening (especially after a few cocktails), but trust us: your face will thank you in the morning! Not only does makeup prohibit your skin’s natural abilities to breathe and create a breeding ground for bacteria and blemishes, sleeping in those harsh chemicals can cause eye irritation and even infections. Yuck!

In addition to a lack of results, users of prescription retinoids often experience adverse side effects.  Burning and stinging of the skin, redness, peeling, and severe dryness are common complaints. Although many of these symptoms may resolve over weeks to months of use, some individuals experience persistent irritation and inflammation from topical retinoids.

Eat your beauty nutrients. For under-eyes, make sure you’re getting enough Vitamins C (brightening and collagen-boosting) & E (works with C, and moisturizing), Omega-3 (for repairing damage), and silica (basis of collagen). Vitamin K is a blood clotter, and can help reduce darkness by controlling seepage. This means tons of fruits and vegetables, hemp seeds, hemp milk, walnuts, and leafy greens.
This retinol serum boasts that it will take care of 7 signs of aging. It says it will reduce the appearance of wrinkles, balance out and even your skin tone, reduce the appearance of age spots, even out skin texture, provide hydration, give skin a brighter glow, and minimize the appearance of your pores. That seems like a lot to promise, but one look at the reviews and you’ll know that they definitely deliver for at least some people!

I’ve been a subscriber to the Allure Beauty Box for almost a year now! It’s always exciting to open the box and have no idea what’s in it, and I’ve been happy with everything I have received so far! On the downside, shipping can take foreverrrrr, but that’s the only bad thing I can really think of! I’ve had no issues with customer service either. No plans on cancelling this box anytime soon!😊
