I just can’t let go of Allure…I’ve got rid of all the others I had due to makeup and skincare overload but I just can’t let go of Allure. They have really stepped it up this past year and if they keep it going consistently like they have I don’t see myself getting rid of it anytime soon. I know you can’t make everyone happy but for me Allure really stepped up their game in 2018 and I was happy with each box I received. I hope their consistency carries through to 2019 as I will be looking forward to some more awesome Beauty Boxes from Allure.
I’m in my 40’s. I can read and smell. I know what it is and what it’s for but it stinks and it’s full of blue dye. Stained a white pillow case. I have plenty of face and body products. This stuff is not going back on my face so I can stain another pillow case. Plus, I don’t want to smell it. It stinks! It’s packed full of vitamin C so there’s really no reason it can’t be used on feet too. At least it’s not going to waste. Have s great day!

After checking out the site and learning that there is no profile to select your skin color/tone or any preferences - I decided this box was not going to be for me. I emailed customer service 4 times asking them to cancel. I got an automatic response each time stating they would get back with me in 3-5 business days. Never happened.

Worst experience with a beauty box subscription I have ever had. The first box did not even come with any of the detailed products for my first month and I only recieved four products total that was supposedly including the mystery gift. I did not recieve my first box until they took out a second payment for another month. They say that its only first month with a later ship date...nope thats a lie third month and I still dont reciece my box until almost into anothet month or into the next month. Here is the funny thing, no one knows where your box is either, i have been lied to and just flat out told I dont know. I ecen had a cusyomer service person hang up the phone on me at one point asking questions on my first month of the subscription because she was too busy. It was all of 5 minutes trying to understand how there box works as oppose to all of my many other beauty box subscriptions. With all the conveniences dont believe when they tell you they will send you a previous box to accomodate for all the inconveniences, I waited for three months for the september 2017 box I never got. Finally I spoke with the supervisor Josie and well now I understand why the customer service is in shambles I think she was the worst to have a title of supervisor in customer service of all. I would much rather wait on an email from boxycharm, or chat with birchbox than to email with no responses for a week and when you call get the rudest service I have ever experienced. Gave me such a bad taste in my mouth for allure in general ew! Dobt do it go for a box that has the same amoubt of product (sample size) for 5 dollars less like ipsy, sephora play, or birchbox. Save your time and heartache.

Ladies it’s allure who is the fault! I just got an email stating there is a delay in shipping! They won’t give me shipping notification until next week when I’ve been subscribed to them for over a year! I’m so upset and will not be returning until they change their shipping notifications . They use to tell me that when they charged us every month that it was meaning that the box is about to ship. So I was charged in the 4th and it hasn’t even left their facility 😡 I wouldn’t even be mad if they hadn’t have charged me and get my hopes up.

I love subscription boxes. So after reading all the online “professional” reviews, I went for Allure since Birch is so/so (but has TOP customer service) and FabFitFun only comes 4x a year. I never received my January box, nor did many others, yet they advertised for people to sign up and get it right up until February. I emailed them a polite message and heard nothing back. Finally, I tried to cancel my subscription online, and their website has “error messages” for every time you try to perform that action on your account. You have to call. The person I spoke to today assured me that I would be given a refund in 10 business days to my debit card. If it doesn’t happen, I WILL be going through the bank, since it appears that a number of individuals are not receiving their money. Allure was poorly prepared for this subscription service.
So disgusted!!! I've only had this subscription for 3 months (May being the third month) and all 3 months I've had to contact customer service! The first month- it was 3 weeks after my payment posted to my bank account before I received an email stating my box was shipped and on its way. They said that's how it goes with the first months box. So ok. Then the second month, April, the money is posted to my account. When you sign up it states onces the money is withdrawn from your bank account, once it posts you will receive an email stating it has shipped. So 3-4 days go by still no email. A week. Still no email. Once again almost 3 weeks go by before I receive an email that the box has even shipped! They tell me sorry for the delay, I write back saying, "yes I see that there is a delay, but why is there such a delay? When you order it states once the money is posted in your account you will receive an email about shipping, not several weeks later" no reply back. So this month (May) I check my bank account and I notice that they double charged me. Once on May 11th and again on May 14th. I write them about this double charge asking to be reimbursed. Later that day (may 16th) there is a reversal charge and the money is put back into my account. They get back to me on the 18th stating that "there was only one charge which was May 11th which is for my beauty box and that their records show no charge on May 14th!!! So I wrote them back and told them that is strange because I can see it right on my account. I took pictures of both charges with the dates as well as the reversal charge and told them I don't know how it was taken care of but thankfully it was because it doesn't sound like I would of received much help!!! I am seriously debating cancelling my subscription. I do like the products which is why I gave this review one star! Let's see when i receive the email about shipping! As of today it has been a week since the payment was posted to my bank account!!!
Im 12 about to be 13 in less than two weeks and my eye bags and dark circles are horrendus. I dont smile in any photos because it shows my horrible eye bags.
