I subscribed to the Beauty Box and they took the money out and for 2 weeks I didn't get any sort of confirmation. So I emailed them and 1 week later they responded with just saying it will soon be shipped out. The following month I still didn't receive it and all they said was, "Sorry for inconvenience but it was shipped and nothing we can do at this point." My friend received her box and the bag was broken and one other product and they never replaced it. I cancelled my subscription and went through my bank to get my money back because they did not even respond after that.

Amazon had some sort of sale so I signed for a few subscriptions to see if anything was worth it. After the first month, the only one I kept was Allure. I'm a serious skincare person and a terrible make-up person but the box had a nice blend of both -- enough make-up for me to play with and some good skincare stuff/brands I hadn't seen. The second month I got an envelope in the mail and it's a single Kat Von D lipliner -- I'm not a fan of her make-up line and thought 'yep, this is it, subscription boxes suck' and canceled. Tonight, I got home and there's a proper box with some great make-up and two different face oils to try (and seriously, no joke, I was googling face oils today). So I signed back up and am now writing this review.

Same! I only see a reference to the refund and free box in the preview of the e-mail while I’m looking at my entire mailbox. If I open the message, the subject says nothing about a refund and free box, and the body of the e-mail just says they apologize for the shipping delay. I’m not optimistic the refund and bonus box will really happen. I think that part may have been a mistake.

Horrible service!!! I signed up for December on the 6th and didn't receive my box until the 27th. I was not happy with items and decided to cancel my subscription. They wouldn't answer the phone so I sent an email. They charged my credit card today!! I called to complain and they told me that because of the holidays they probably haven't even gotten to my email yet and can't refund me for January even though they haven't sent the box yet. I told the customer service rep (Nick) that I wanted a refund. He said he couldn't give me one until the box was sent and I sent it back!! WOW!! Horrible!! Now i have to dispute the charge with my credit card company!! Don't order from Allure!!!!

Still have yet to get my allure January box! It shipped on the 4th and allure says they have no clue where it is.. I’ve been with them for over a year , and it’s not cool not to have answers for ur customers. This is my last box with them unfortunately until they come up with a lot better stuff then what’s in February and March and April. Nothing is making me want to stay😔
Having been blessed with mixed skin, I have struggled to find the right facial cream for my skin type. HORRRRIBLEEE!!! I recieved by box with the nail polish already shattered and damaging every single product in the box so I emailed TWICE asking nicely for a replacement or for a refund and I got no reply so when I finally called after 6 days of no response the woman on the phone didn't so much as even fake apologize she just said "okay you're cancelled" and that was all. Rude and I'll be telling everyone I know. I also referred a bunch of people who signed up and then after this I got them all to cancel and will be telling everyone I can to not waste their money/time. Simple customer service skills could have gone a long way. Damaged items are an easy fix but the people they have replying to emails and phone calls are the real damaged items.

It’s not hard to cancel Allure at all. I think people just aren’t looking hard enough on the website. Go to FAQ’s. It’ll help. Also, my experience with customer service for the past 5 years has been stellar. I dunno. I think it’s important to use diplomacy for best outcomes with these companies. I always start with praise and tell them I know they will offer the best solution to the problem/complaint. It has worked for me.
