While you can’t necessarily remove dark circles, you can often hide them by lightening the area with a concealer. There are some mineral-based options available, but you can also make your own right at home. You can choose options that match your skin tone and then simply apply it by lightly patting it onto the skin around the eyes. Do not rub it into the skin as this may cause further irritation. Also, do not use too much. You want a natural appearance to the skin. Too much can make dark circles, wrinkles and crepey skin more prominent.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) gives you short-term benefits while you wait patiently for retinoids and AHAs to kick in. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant, and works by drawing water into the cells, making skin look plumper and more full of life. And hyaluronic acid is the latest and greatest humectant out there, each of its molecules capable of holding 800 to 1,000 times their weight in water. That’s a lot of plumping power. Even more effective than HA is sodium hyaluronate, a derivative that has smaller molecules, making it better at sinking deeply into the skin.
December is great this one not so much. Now that Christmas is over I can’t justify little skin samples anymore. I also don’t want nail polish or bronze eyeshadow. I am giving all the samples from Sept and Oct to my mom . I think Allure just is not for me I see others not liking December which is best box I have ever seen from them imo and get excited over Sunday Riley and drunk elephant which I think is meh. Its OK still got Ipsy I opted out of skin care with them. Plus with Amazon I can skip the light or wrong color make up months
The gold-standard anti-aging ingredient retinol, which stimulates cell turnover to boost collagen, is the powerhouse in this serum, dispensed as a special foam for faster absorption. "This faded the dark spots on my cheeks and plumped both my fine and my deep lines," a tester said. "I got compliments on how even-toned and bright my skin was," another glowed. After four weeks of use, 76% of testers saw diminished lines and wrinkles, and we measured a nearly 10% reduction in UV spots in the Lab test, with little to no irritation.

The hero ingredient in this formula is caffeine, which is arguably the most powerful player in the eye-cream game. "Caffeine works to constrict your blood vessels under the skin, which means less fluid builds up and settles around your eyes," Dr. Nazarian explains. Think of this all-natural cream as a cup of coffee for your skin—pat the formula (which also contains vitamins C and E) underneath your eyes and watch it work to make you look (and feel!) like you're awake, while brightening and de-puffing on the fly.
"Here’s how I use this product: I place some cream (about the size of 1-2 green peas) on my index finger and dab it on my forehead, my nose, each cheek and my chin before slowly rubbing the product into my skin in a large circular motion — first clockwise, then counterclockwise. Any product that's left on my fingers goes right to the backs of my hands for some anti-aging there,” says Dr. Gary Goldenberg, M.D., assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Maybe it is just me, but I pay $15 dollars a month as a treat for myself and am never really disappointed in the allure box. I figure I always get to try something that I may not have been otherwise willing to try (for the cost). I realized a while back, when I did start to get disappointed, that I was usually just feeding off of negative comments. Sure some things don’t work for me, others I have found to be a holy grail. I give away some as gifts but I usually always feel as though I get my money’s worth.
